At the age of 32, Blossoming Butterfly's founder Nicole Miller was diagnosed with stage 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (Triple Negative). All she could think about was her children as it seemed her life was taking a turn for the worse. She endured 7 months of chemo followed by 6 weeks of radiation 5 days a week. Her body began to change mentally and physically as she became weaker and felt helpless, hopeless and displeasing.
While going through treatment, she was blessed to meet and gain friendships with older women that experienced breast cancer. During her experience, she realized there weren’t younger women she knew who spoke about their journey. As she continues her journey, God has allowed her to influence and encourage others through their process, sharing her story both publicly and privately in the name of bringing awareness and uplifting others.
The women who came into Nicole's life during her battle were very helpful and supported her both emotionally and financially. Her goal is to do the same through Blossoming Butterfly, Inc. She aims to not only provide encouragement for her sisters and brothers traveling along this uncertain journey, but also to educate, help prepare for the battle, and provide financial assistance and resources where needed.
