What Is Breastology? Breastology is a high-impact, conversation-starting session created by survivors and experts. It demystifies breast health, breaks the stigma, and gives young women the confidence and tools to understand their bodies and speak up when something feels off.
What Students Will Learn?
Students will gain a well-rounded understanding of breast health, beginning with the basics of normal breast development and the changes they should be aware of over time. They will learn early detection skills, including how to perform self-checks and recognize potential warning signs, while also separating facts from common myths surrounding breast cancer. The program builds risk awareness by addressing lifestyle factors, family history, and genetic considerations every young woman should understand. In addition, students will be equipped with advocacy and self-advocacy tools—learning how to communicate concerns with doctors and support friends along their health journeys. Emphasis is also placed on mental and emotional empowerment, helping reduce fear, build confidence, and foster a culture of proactive health awareness. Finally, students will be guided to credible resources and next steps for screenings, support, and ongoing education.
